Udate: 2-9-2007

I haven't abandoned this project.  I have some great ideas, or at least they seem great to me, anyway it is just that it has been too cold for me to get out take pics lately. I never thought I would write something like that.  It seems that the  only nice days we have had in a while I have had to work.  So as soon as it warms up some I get started on this blog, seriously.

I have been thinking about making this new blog for a while, I was actually going to wait till next week or so but when I logged on today I noticed that I am a featured member. So now seems like a good time to do some attention whoring and announce my new blog.

What I have in mind for the Petrotopia blog is an in depth look at what makes the Midland/Odessa area unique. Basically a detailed write up for locals and outsiders alike to experience the unrivaled strangeness that makes the Petroplex so dang lovable.

If anyone has any suggestions for articles please share them with me. I have a few ideas of my own and I am going to try to get some good pics this weekend.
